While watching the Japan vs. Sweden semi-final match today, I couldn't help but notice a remark made by the ESPN telecast. I don't know if any of you caught this, but one of the analysts said the average height of women on Japan's team was 5'4 compared to the average height of women on Sweden's team of 5'9.
Wow! If Japan overcame a 5-inch height disadvantage then it's pretty obvious this team deserves a place in the final against the United States. Who knows, could they prevail again in the final?
